EAA Structure and Organisation

The EAA is a fully democratic body governed by the Executive Board (ExB). The Nomination Committee is a statutory committee responsible for nominating candidate(s) for vacant positions on the ExB. Further statutory committees include the Statutes Committee and the Appeal and Anti-Harassment Committee. Four non-Statutory Advisory Committees serve as think-tanks, assisting the work of the ExB and the Statutory Committees in relevant matters. EAA Communities are built bottom-up to gather the expertise of EAA Members. A Task Force is created by decision of the ExB for a limited period (usually one year) in order to achieve a particular result. Commissioners are appointed by the ExB to represent the EAA in relevant institutions. The EAA Secretariat, based in Prague, Czech Republic, services EAA Members and supports the work of EAA constituents. The EAA adheres to its Statutes, Codes and the Handbook.
