About EAA Membership


Membership is open to all archaeologists, students of archaeology and retired archaeologists, as well as interested members of the public. By signing up for membership, a Member agrees to adhere to EAA Statutes, Code of Practice and Principles. 

EAA membership is per calendar year; however, any Member subscribing later on in the year will receive online access to the European Journal of Archaeology, and The European Archaeologist newsletter.

EAA membership is non-refundable (technical issues excepted).

 Student 70 / 55 EUR (Student membership is available to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students.)
 Retired 75 / 55 EUR (Retired membership includes retirement for medical reasons.)
 Family 125 / 75 EUR (Family membership is available to individuals who are related to each other; Family members have the status of Full Individual Members.)
 Life 950 EUR
 Life Family 1250 EUR
 Corporate 1700 / 750 EUR (Corporate Membership is available to institutions who wish to support the EAA.)
