Why did EAA increase membership fees for 2025?

The membership fee increase for 2025 reflects the rising operational costs due to inflation (please note membership fees have been adjusted for the first time since 2017). Additionally, the EAA membership has nearly tripled, requiring more resources to maintain high standards.

How do I obtain an invoice for EAA membership payment and/or EAA conference registration fee?

Invoices for both the EAA membership fee and Annual Meeting registration fee can be accessed in your EAA membership profile. To view or download your invoices, log in at www.e-a-a.org, navigate to Member's Area > My EAA Profile > My Payments & Invoices. If you need assistance or require a specific invoice for your EAA membership payment, please contact us at helpdesk@e-a-a.org.

How can I change billing details in my invoice?

If you need any changes in your invoice (typically billing address), please contact us via helpdesk@e-a-a.org and we will correct the invoice for you. Please note that changes can only be made by 30 September 2025. 

I see a price of 1111 EUR when registering for the EAA conference. What should I do?

To ensure you see the correct registration price, please select your membership type first by logging into your profile at www.e-a-a.org under For Members Only > My EAA Profile > Renew Now: Membership Options. Once the appropriate EAA membership type is set for the current year, you can then proceed to conference registration. The conference registration fee is based on your current membership status, so failing to select your membership type first may result in an incorrect price.

If you have items in your shopping cart, please remove them before trying again.

If you have recently paid your membership fee and still see the 1111 EUR price, please remove the registration from your cart and try again in a few hours or the following day.

If the issue persists, you may also want to try using a different web browser.

Is it possible to transfer EAA membership to another individual or receive a refund?

No, EAA membership for a given calendar year is non-transferable and non-refundable. This policy is in place to ensure the integrity of our membership and event participation. We appreciate your understanding.

I work in a different country than my country of origin. How does this affect my EAA membership?

EAA membership is determined by your current place of work, study, or residence rather than your nationality. This is particularly relevant for organisers of EAA Annual Meeting sessions, as they must represent at least two different countries.

How do I obtain my EAA ID?

If you are a current or former EAA member, you can find your EAA ID by signing in at www.e-a-a.org and navigating to Member's Area > My EAA Profile. If you have never been an EAA member, please create a new account here. You will receive your EAA ID immediately after completing the registration form. For further assistance with your EAA credentials, please contact us at helpdesk@e-a-a.org.

My EAA account has been locked. What should I do?

If your account has been locked, it may be due to multiple incorrect password attempts. Please wait one hour for the account to automatically unlock. Afterward, you can try using the "Forgotten Password" option. If the issue persists, please contact us at helpdesk@e-a-a.org for further assistance.

When I tried to log into my EAA account, I received a message stating that my account has been disabled.

If you haven't used your EAA account for an extended period, it may be disabled for security reasons. To reactivate your account, please contact us at helpdesk@e-a-a.org for assistance.

How do I change my email address in my EAA profile?

To update your contact email address, please navigate to For Members Only > My EAA Profile > My Contact Details tab.

Please note that the email address used to create your EAA profile also serves as your EAA username. However, changing your contact email address will not automatically update your username. To change your username, please go to For Members Only > My EAA Profile > My EAA Profile tab and clik on 'Change Password and/or Username'.

How do I change my personal details in my EAA profile?

To update your personal details, please navigate to For Members Only > My EAA Profile > My Contact Details tab.
