Petition against a new law in Lower Saxony

A law is set to be passed in Lower Saxony (Northwest Germany) that will limit rescue excavations to designated monument sites only :

This would deny any kind of archaeological work in >95% of all cases and will result in immense destruction of archaeological heritage and permanently destroy countless archaeological sites.
