My name is Danica Mihailović and I am a prehistoric archaeologist based at the Institute of Archaeology in Belgrade.
I’m currently in the final year of my PhD at the University of Belgrade,
where I focus on lithic technology and the sourcing and use of raw
materials in the Palaeolithic of the central Aegean.
I have published on topics ranging from the Mesolithic of Crete and the
Palaeolithic of the central Aegean to the Neolithic of the central
Balkans.
In addition to fieldwork and academic publishing, I am part of my
institution’s social media and communication team, where I contribute to
outreach strategies and public engagement.
I am eager to support the PaM community by helping coordinate session
activities, contributing to regular communications (including
newsletters and web content), and strengthening connections across
research regions and career stages. I would be glad to assist
in maintaining the community’s visibility and collaborative spirit
through these roles.
