Registration is not required for these events, but due to limited capacity, admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. To gain entry, please show proof of attendance, typically with a conference badge. Accompanying persons (guests) with a conference badge are also welcome to attend.

Opening Ceremony

How to get there: 
Description: The Opening Ceremony marks the official start of the conference. Attendees will hear welcome remarks, an overview of the event, and important updates. EAA prizes will be awarded, and winners announced. There may also be short lectures and entertainment. This event sets the tone for the conference and provides an opportunity to connect with fellow participants.

 

Welcome Reception

How to get there: 
Description: The Welcome Reception provides an opportunity for attendees to meet and socialize in a relaxed setting. Light refreshments and drinks will be served as participants connect with colleagues, network, and begin the conference in a more informal atmosphere.

Annual Party

How to get there:
Description: The Annual Party offers attendees an evening of music, dancing, and entertainment. One complimentary drink will be provided (additional drinks available for purchase), and guests can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere while networking and socializing with fellow participants.This event is a great way to unwind and celebrate the conference.

MERC Party

Where: Dorćol Platz
When: Friday 5 September, 20:00 CET
Price: 24 EUR (includes two drinks)
How to get there: 
Description: Annual gathering for members of the EAA MERC community. The party venue is a cultural centre located a 15-minute walk from the University, in the lower part of Dorcol, the former industrial district. Dorcol Platz is a multidisciplinary art commune open on 1.600 m² space for new forms of art and world trends, education, entertainment, sport and technology.

Closing Reception

Price: Free for delegates
How to get there: 
Description: The Closing Reception offers attendees the chance to network and socialize in a relaxed setting. Light refreshments will be provided as participants reflect on the conference, discuss key takeaways, and connect with peers. This event marks the official conclusion of the conference.
