The island of Minorca is one of the places with the highest density of prehistoric archaeological sites and monuments in the world. Built using megalithic construction techniques, many of them remain in a very good state of conservation and form an integral part of the Menorcan landscape: dolmens, navetas, burial caves, taulas and settlements bear witness to the transformations that occurred on the island during 2,000 years of prehistory.
During the trip, you will visit some of the most famous sites in the company of the archaeologists who are excavating them (the settlements of Torre d’en Galmés, Trepucó and Torralba d’en Salord, and the megalithic burial chamber of the Naveta des Tudons).
You will also visit the Roman port of Sanitja, the Moorish castle of Santa Àgueda, and the Museum of Minorca.
