This archaeology-themed cake was produced for Alasdair Whittle’s festschrift party. The cake was a fruit cake made to look like Avebury stone circle, complete with biscuit finger avenue leading to a sponge Sanctuary. Alasdair himself featured in model form excavating at the site. The cake was made by Vicki Cummings and Daniela Hofmann. Many thanks to both for sending us a picture!

We are always looking for submissions of ArchaeoCakes! Please e-mail us at tea@e-a-a.org.
