This issue’s cake was submitted by our very own EAA president. It was made by Felipe Criado-Boado (Instituto de Ciencias del Patrimonio, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) and his wife Maru Tallón-Nieto. The Megalithic-cake, baked in 1987, re-created the building process accurately – inside and outside (we’re not sure about the jam and cream layers, but who knows!). Felipe still uses the images in lectures and classes on the Megalithic.
