EAA MONOGRAPH SERIES "THEMES IN CONTEMPORARY ARCHAEOLOGY"

SCOPE
The Series provides cutting edge perspectives on key areas of debate in current archaeological enquiry, with a particular emphasis on European archaeology. The Series have a broad coverage, encompassing all periods and archaeological approaches, from theoretical debate to archaeological practice. The multi-author volumes are based on selected sessions from the annual conferences of the European Association of Archaeologists. Each volume undergoes strict peer-review, ensuring volumes of high quality that capture current debates in the field.

SERIES EDITORS
The Series editors are Kristian Kristiansen, Eszter Bánffy and Peter Attema.

SUBMISSIONS AND SELECTION PROCESS
Session organisers at EAA conferences are welcome to put their session forward to the Series Editors’ attention before the conference. In exceptional cases, Series Editors may choose to encourage session organiser to prepare the planned session for publication in advance of the conference, but they will generally scout for suitable sessions at the conference, and request synopsis from selected sessions as soon as possible thereafter. If approved, session author(s) will be asked to prepare the volume for publication. The total production schedule will be 18 – 24 months; final complete manuscript must be submitted to the Publisher by the end of February each year for publication at the time of the conference.
