The Prehistoric Society Europa Conference 2017

The Prehistoric Society Europa Conference, which was held in Southampton University from 23-24 June 2017, celebrated the achievements of Professor Helle Vandkilde (University of Aarhus and EAA Member). The Prehistoric Society keeps an European perspective in archaeological research in the UK. Therefore Alex Gibson, president of The Prehistoric Society, and Felipe Criado Boado, who represented the EAA there, have explored new ways of fostering common links between both entities and working together for the creation of a cross-European archaeological knowledge and practice relevant for the present challenges.
