EAA 13th ANNUAL MEETING IN ZADAR, CROATIA
The 13th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists took place in Zadar, Croatia, 18-23 September 2007.

The 13th EAA conference 2007 was held between 18-23 September in Zadar. The organisers of the Meeting were the University of Zadar and Archaeological museum in Zadar. Altogether 605 archaeologists from 42 countries attended the EAA Meeting in Zadar. Over 500 papers and posters, organized into 58 sessions and round tables, were delivered. The main themes were “Managing the Archaeological Record and Cultural Heritage”, “Archaeology and Material Culture - Interpreting the Material Record” and “Archaeology in the Modern World: Theoretical and Methodological Perspectives.” Chronologically, the contributions ranged from early Palaeolithic to the 18 century A.D. and included current matters related with archaeology in modern Europe. The pdf programme contains abstracts of all the papers and posters, the same as a directory of the participants. Different two-day excursions preceded the conference and various shorter excursions were offered on the Sunday.
