Membership
Membership of
the EAA is open to all professional archaeologists,
students of archaeology
and retired archaeologists. Non-archaeologists can join as Associate members.
Please note that membership
is per calendar year. However, any members subscribing later on in the
year will receive all publications (4 journals and 2 electronic newsletters)
for that year, regardless of the time of subscription. |

Membership categories
1. There shall be the following
categories of Full Membership:
a) Regular (annual)
b) Family (annual)
c) Student (annual)
d) Retired (annual)
e) Life
2. Family Membership is available
to partners of Full Members.
3. Only Full Members shall
have voting rights in the affairs of the Association.
4. By signing up for membership,
a member agrees to adhere to EAA's Codes of Practice and Code of Conduct.

wishing to subscribe to the European Journal of Archaeology should contact
the publishers direct on www.maney.co.uk/journals/eja
to learn more about the journal and to subscribe online.
What
do Members receive?

Journal of Archaeology per year and on-line access (* for further
details see the categories of membership).

2 EAA electronic newsletters
per year -
The European Archaeologist

Members are encouraged to contribute
papers and articles to both these publications.

The EAA Code of Practice
in document format.

Voting rights in elections
to the Board and for any statute changes.

Reduced rates to the
EAA annual conference. Members are encouraged to take part in the sessions,
round tables and working parties at the annual conferences.

Members can take advantage of
discounted
book offers.
Corporate Membership
shall be open to organisations, and institutions that undertake to make
annual financial contributions to the work of the Association.
How much
Does it Cost?
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Special
discount of 5 Euro for all membership categories if payment received
before March 31.

A - Western Europe;
B
- Central & Eastern Europe*
* Countries of Central
and Eastern Europe (eligible for B membership type and the Wenner-Gren
grant): Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, F.Y.R. Macedonia, Georgia,
Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia,
Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Turkey.
